Do you deliver the Level 4 Early
Years Advanced Practitioner
qualification?
Yes we have recently re-started
the delivery of the Level 4 Early
Years Advanced Practitioner. This
is a standalone course which
takes approximately 6 months to
complete. This qualification
includes the unit required to be
fully qualified in a PANCO role.
What are the entry
requirements?
Learners should be at least 18
years old and should have the
ability to manage the
requirements of the level of the
qualification. They must already
hold a full Level 3 early
years/childcare qualification.
Learners must also be employed
in a suitable Early Years setting.
Who is this course aimed at?
The level 4 qualification is aimed at providing
continuous professional development to current
level 3 practitioners working in the Early Years field.
It embraces the wealth of experience of the level 3
early years workforce and equips them to use
crucial leadership skills to mentor others across all
roles and responsibilities in the early years
workforce. Acquiring this qualification will provide
learners with the knowledge and skills needed to
work as an Advanced Practitioner in early years.
How much does the course
cost?
The cost of the course is £1000
(monthly payment options are
available). Alternately you can
apply for an Advanced Learner
Loan to cover the cost of the
course. For this route, the course
cost is £724.
How is the course structured?
The Level 4 course is structured to be completed
through independent, self-directed study. Your
work will be marked by a tutor, who will provide
feedback on each assignment to support your
learning and development. To help guide your
progress, each assignment includes a Hints and
Tips document, along with useful links and
resources. These are provided to support you in
completing the tasks independently and to ensure
you have access to relevant materials.
