Showcase Training is proud to announce our new
corporate partnership with Stop Domestic Abuse,
a Hampshire-based charity dedicated to ending
domestic violence and supporting survivors.
Stop Domestic Abuse supports everyone affected
by domestic violence through innovative and
tailored services. They focus on helping victims
recover and assisting perpetrators in changing
their behaviour. Offering a wide range of flexible
and accessible services across Hampshire, they
also collaborate closely with the police and other
agencies to create safer communities.

Why is behaviour change important?
Behaviour change interventions for domestic abuse are critically
important because they address the root causes of abuse, support
survivors, and work to prevent further abuse.
Domestic abuse often follows a repeated pattern. Without intervention,
people who use abusive behaviours are likely to continue the abuse.
Behaviour change programmes aim to interrupt this cycle, reducing the
risk to current and future victims. Effective behaviour change reduces the
risk of re-offending, making homes safer for survivors and children. It also
helps survivors rebuild their lives without fear, supporting long-term
recovery.
