WELCOME
Welcome to the latest edition of the Showcase
magazine. Following a very warm summer with many
beautiful days, we start to turn our attention to
autumn and the new school year.
For many of you this is the start of your working life,
and school becomes a distant memory as you embark
on new careers in childcare. It is also when many
children either join or leave nurseries, which can so
often be a daunting time. It is a period of change that
also brings many opportunities, and with that in mind
there is so much packed into this edition of the
magazine to help you on your journey, whatever stage
you are at.
Look out for articles on Safeguarding, Prevent,
healthy lifestyles and personal safety amongst many
others. There is also news around careers and A.I.,
both of which are hot topics in education and
childcare. In Kath’s corner there is some great advice
on money matters, which is something I know many of
you will find useful. Finally, our middle pages highlight
key dates for your calendars over the coming year – it
never hurts to be prepared.
