FEATURING ABI AND HANNAH
Meet Abi
With over 15 years of experience in early years education, my journey
began with completing both Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships in a
nursery setting. After qualifying as a Level 3 practitioner and working
for a year in the nursery, I transitioned into a full-time nannying role.
During this time, I also gained valuable experience working in a
primary school and trained to become a childcare tutor. After
stepping away from my nannying role to become a parent myself, I
found my way back to the professional world by joining the fantastic
team at Showcase Training. For the past 18 months, I've been
thoroughly enjoying my role, supporting learners as they build their
knowledge, confidence, and skills within the childcare sector.
Meet Hannah
I started my career in early years 6.5 years ago, after I’d had my two
children. I completed my Level 3 apprenticeship, going on to
complete a Diploma in Primary Education and then on to gain a BA
(Hons) degree in Early Years Education. I continued to work within a
nursery setting progressing from apprentice to room manager, which
allowed me to use the knowledge and skills I had gained in practice.
After supporting apprentices within my setting with their own
coursework, I knew I wanted to become a tutor. I achieved my tutor
qualification and joined Showcase 16 months ago and haven’t looked
back since. No day is ever the same as no learner is ever the same. I
love the rapport I build with my learners whilst supporting them to
achieve their potential as early years educators.
