Meet Mark
Hi, I am Mark and I am the Sales Manager at Showcase Training.
I have 20 years of experience in sales. I bring strong
relationship-building skills, and a genuine passion for helping
clients. Throughout my career, I’ve built a reputation for
delivering results while maintaining a friendly, people-first
approach. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of football and golf, I
enjoy socialising whenever I get the chance with my friends.
Most importantly, I love spending quality time with my wife and
daughter, who keep me motivated both personally and
professionally.
Meet Laura
My name is Laura, and I am the Senior Early Years Tutor at Showcase Training, a Subject Quality
Assurer (SQA), and Curriculum Lead. I bring over 18 years of experience in the early years sector,
with 13 years spent working directly in early years settings before joining Showcase Training five
years ago. During my time in practice, I worked across a range of early years settings, and held
roles from qualified early years educator to manager. I found this period of my career extremely
rewarding, particularly leading teams to deliver high-quality care and education for babies and
young children. Five years ago, I decided to take the next step in my professional journey and
pursue a change in direction. I began my CAVA qualification with Showcase Training alongside
my role in an early years setting. When an opportunity arose, I applied for a tutor position and
began my career as an Early Years Tutor. Since then, I have continued to develop professionally
and now support the tutor team in my senior role. I also lead on the creation, development, and
implementation of the Level 2, 3, 4, and 5 Early Years curriculums delivered by Showcase
Training. I am passionate about what I do and find it incredibly rewarding. Although I no longer
work directly in an early years setting, I continue to have a positive impact on children’s
outcomes by supporting and developing those who aspire to work in early years - helping
learners gain qualifications, grow in confidence, and deliver high-quality care and education.
