What is Sustainability?
Sustainability is a term that has become increasingly important in our modern world. It is the
ability to continue using resources without depleting them or causing harm to the environment
for future generations. It means meeting today's needs without compromising the ability of
future generations to meet their own needs, and this involves a balance between
environmental protection, social equity, and economic viability.

example, by using renewable
energy sources such as solar or
wind power instead of limited
fossil fuels.

Did you know...
Bamboo makes Fantastic Plastic!
Regular, oil-based plastic can take centuries to biodegrade,
damaging the environment & harming wildlife. Bamboo on the
other hand, can biodegrade in just 50 days!
Scientists in china, created it by using a non-toxic alcohol to
dissolve bamboo down using molecules, then reassembling
them to form a tough plastic material.
Research has shown that the strength of the bamboo matches
traditional plastics and its stability is even better! It can be
shaped just as easily, and recycled and used to make similar
products whilst maintaining nearly all of its original strength.
