WELCOME
Welcome everyone to our winter edition of the magazine. The
clocks have gone back and the nights are drawing in;
Halloween has been and gone, and the first Christmas adverts
are starting to appear. It’s always such a lovely time as the
seasons change and we have the opportunity to reflect on the
last year. At Showcase we’ve had another incredible twelve
months with a record number of amazing students qualifying,
progressing and achieving so much.
At Showcase we recognise the hard work both learners and
employers do throughout the apprenticeship journey and we
hope that the new year will see even more of you achieve and
thrive in the world of Early Years.
As always, the magazine is packed with useful information that
will help professionally and personally. I particularly enjoyed
reading about moving out of home - although a long time ago
for me, I remember how daunting, yet exciting that was. This
may well be something you are considering so I encourage you
to read the article as there’s some very handy hints. I also
enjoyed the facts and fibs and have to be honest I was quite
surprised to see which were which. It’s so hard these days to
know what is real and what isn’t!

in December and a wonderful new year - fingers crossed you
